Fans will find coaching additions and subtractions, incoming and outgoing transfers and commitments in the 2024 recruiting class in the slideshow to follow

QB Brock Vandagriff (Georgia)

As a true freshman in 2021, the Georgia native appeared in two games completing zero passes. In his redshirt freshman season, he saw late game action in three games but again completed zero passes. His largest exposure came in 2023 when he played in eight games. Vandagriff completed 12-of-18 passes for 165 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He added five carries for 39 yards. Ironically, his best game was against his now new team in October. The junior-to be completed 5-of-7 pass attempts for 46 yards and 1 touchdown.

Coming out of Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Georgia, Vandagriff was rated a .9908 on a scale to 1.000 by the 247Sports Composite, which equated to the nation’s No. 4 quarterback and the No. 17 prospect overall. He picked up scholarship offers from across the country.

WR Raymond Cottrell (Texas A&M)

The Florida native is considered the nation’s No. 8 wide receiver in the transfer portal and the No. 27 prospect overall, according to 247Sports. Defensive backs coach Chris Collins got UK’s foot in the door and was able to help seal the deal. Cottrell had one catch for a 13-yard touchdown against Louisiana Monroe.

As a high school recruit, Cottrell was rated a .9190 on a scale to 1.000 by the 247Sports Composite, which equated to the nation’s No. 30 wide receiver. He took official visits to Texas A&M, Miami and Georgia, but the 247Sports Crystal Ball had been split between Florida State and Florida. As a senior, caught 46 passes for 651 yards and 9 TD. Also carried the ball 38 times for 279 yards and 5 more scores. As an 11th grader, he was a district qualifier in the 100-meter dash posting times of 11.14 seconds, 11.17 and 11.32 in the race.
