The unexpected victory of Michigan over USC gave the Wolverines a much-needed boost in their recruiting efforts. We’ll discuss a few candidates who attended the upset in Ann Arbour.
Last weekend, Brian Jean-Mary, the linebacker coach, welcomed Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng from IMG Academy (FL), who is his top target on the board. The top-100 prospect was on campus with Donovan Johnson and Kaden Strayhorn, two current Michigan commits and team
mates from high school. Owusu-Boateng stated to EJ Holland ($) of The Wolverine, “Going up with Kaden and Donovan was a great opportunity.” These two are amazing men.
They have enormous things ahead of them at Michigan. They told me again and again how much Michigan needs me. I have a fantastic chance. I’m really in love with those guys.
Owusu-Boateng, who was visiting Ann Arbour for the first time, expressed his admiration for the team’s zeal and the stadium’s energy, adding, “I would say my favourite part was just seeing how electric The Big House is.” Observing the team’s unity as well, he went on.
Nobody bowed their heads when they were on the ground. Throughout the entire game, they fought and kept their heads up.
