Ohio State Commit Tide Roll Offer:2025 Recruiting Class 4-Star CB Dijon Lee Announces Commitment After a Significant Official Visit To Ohio State

Ohio State has added another major piece to its 2025 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star cornerback Dijon Lee. The highly sought-after defensive back from California announced his decision following a standout official visit to Columbus, further solidifying the Buckeyes’ top-ranked recruiting class.

Lee, ranked among the top 10 cornerbacks in the nation, brings an elite combination of speed, technique, and football IQ. At 6’1″ and 185 pounds, he is a physical presence on the field, capable of shutting down opposing receivers and excelling in man-to-man coverage. His athleticism and versatility have drawn comparisons to former Ohio State stars, and his commitment is a significant win for head coach Ryan Day and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles.

During his visit, Lee experienced firsthand the storied tradition of Ohio State football, including the program’s emphasis on player development and a strong defensive legacy. He also had the opportunity to connect with fellow recruits and current players, further cementing his confidence in the program. Lee praised the coaching staff’s vision for his role in the Buckeyes’ defense and expressed excitement about competing at the highest level of college football.

“Ohio State felt like home,” Lee said during his announcement. “The coaches, the facilities, the atmosphere—it’s everything I was looking for. I know they’ll help me reach my full potential on and off the field.”

Lee’s commitment is another testament to Ohio State’s prowess on the recruiting trail. The Buckeyes have been aggressive in targeting elite defensive backs, addressing a key area of need for future seasons. With Lee’s addition, the 2025 class now boasts several blue-chip prospects, further establishing Ohio State as a destination for top-tier talent.

This commitment also underscores the program’s ability to attract talent from across the country. Lee’s decision to leave the West Coast for Ohio State is a significant recruiting victory over schools like USC and Oregon, both of which were heavily pursuing him.

Ohio State fans are already looking forward to seeing Lee in action, as he has the potential to make an immediate impact in the secondary. His commitment reinforces the Buckeyes’ position as a national powerhouse and sets the stage for continued success in the seasons ahead.
