Florida State Land No.3 4-Star CB In The Country Antonio Cromartie Jr Commit Seminos Football Program

Antonio Cromartie Jr. Commits to Florida State Football Program

The Florida State Seminoles have secured a major victory on the recruiting trail as Antonio Cromartie Jr., the No. 3-ranked cornerback in the country, officially committed to the program. A four-star recruit, Cromartie Jr. is the son of former NFL star Antonio Cromartie, who earned Pro Bowl honors during his standout career. With football excellence in his DNA, Cromartie Jr.’s decision to join Florida State marks a significant boost for the Seminoles’ 2025 recruiting class.

Standing at 6’1” and weighing 185 pounds, Cromartie Jr. is known for his elite athleticism, exceptional coverage skills, and football IQ. His ability to lock down receivers and make plays on the ball has drawn comparisons to his father, who excelled in a similar role during his time in the NFL. Cromartie Jr. also possesses the versatility to contribute as a dynamic return specialist, further enhancing his value to Florida State.

The Seminoles’ coaching staff, led by head coach Mike Norvell and defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, has been relentless in pursuing top-tier talent. Cromartie Jr.’s commitment is a testament to the program’s resurgence and ability to compete with powerhouse schools in recruiting battles. He reportedly chose Florida State over offers from other major programs, including Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State, citing a strong connection with the coaching staff and a desire to continue his family’s legacy.

Cromartie Jr. expressed excitement about joining the Seminoles, stating, “Florida State felt like home. The tradition, the coaching staff, and the opportunity to compete at the highest level made this an easy decision for me. I’m ready to get to work and help bring championships back to Tallahassee.”

His addition solidifies Florida State’s commitment to rebuilding its defense with top-tier talent. Cromartie Jr. is expected to make an immediate impact upon his arrival, potentially contributing as a freshman in a secondary that is becoming increasingly formidable.

As the Seminoles continue to build momentum on the field and in recruiting, Cromartie Jr.’s commitment sends a clear message: Florida State is once again a destination for elite athletes. The program’s trajectory points upward, and Cromartie Jr. is poised to play a pivotal role in its return to national prominence.
