During the 2024–25 season, Holloman played a pivotal role for the Spartans, contributing to their Big Ten Championship and Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Despite starting only 16 of 37 games, he posted career highs in minutes (23.1), points (9.1), and assists (3.7).
NC State is undergoing a significant roster overhaul, with seven players entering the transfer portal, including guard Trey Parker. To rebuild the team, Coach Wade has added transfers Alyn Breed and Quadier Copeland and secured commitments from high school recruits Matthew Able and Zymicah Wilkins. Holloman will join returning player Paul McNeil in the revamped lineup.
