Florida State University (FSU) has secured a significant commitment from four-star cornerback Gregory “Zae” Thomas, who chose the Seminoles over several Southeastern Conference (SEC) powerhouses, including Clemson, LSU, and Miami.

 

Thomas, a standout at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, is notable not only for his athletic prowess but also for his heritage; he is the first member of the Seminole Tribe to receive a football scholarship from FSU.

 

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 185 pounds, Thomas is ranked No. 204 overall in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports. During his senior year, he recorded 43 tackles, showcasing his defensive capabilities.
