GOOD NEWS: Florida state football is bringing him back Jordan Travis QB

Florida State football had a remarkable 2023 campaign where it was widely successful. The program has generated heights that it has not experienced in almost ten years.

Head football coach Mike Norvell has transformed the Seminoles in his image. However, the next step is to have sustainable success that can continue to build into the team’s fourth national championship of all time.

Florida State will have its work cut out for them as they look to replace several massive contributors such as tight end Jaheim Bell. The tight end position is so valuable to the Seminoles as they line up as in-line blockers and receivers, on the outside, in the slot, and even in the backfield.

Redshirt senior Kyle Morlock will have to step into the role of being the starting option at the position. Morlock was a less-regarded pickup due to coming from Division II Shorter. However, the veteran has earned his keep as the season progressed where he recorded 19 receptions for 255 yards.

When the Seminoles had their backs against the wall with no receiving options when playmakers such as Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman were out with injuries versus the Pittsburgh Panthers, Morlock had four catches for 80 yards.

As we know these are college athletes and they have their own respective lives outside of football. We already discussed quarterback DJ Uiagalelei proposing to his girlfriend. On Saturday, Morlock announced on social media that he has officially got married.

We at ChopChat would like to congratulate Morlock on the amazing feat in his life as he enters his redshirt senior campaign. There is nothing like marrying the love of your life and creating endless memories. I expect Morlock to have a phenomenal season to end his collegiate career. Hopefully, this means that the Seminoles will be hoisting a national championship trophy to end 2024.
